James is on quality control, making Wally Cases better by the minute.
Here are some shots from the pilot run, which is a very important part of production. This is where you find issues with the process and fix it before going into full production. Our yield was only 50% over 150 pieces because of an issue with the UV coating. UV coating is a spray that cures under UV light to a very hard finish. It is how we make the case part of your Wally Case scratch resistant. In this case (no pun intended), the coating cracked when the leather pocket was formed under lots of pressure and heat. The fix involves putting a support under the case when this forming happens.
